KNOW WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT YOU
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 4:4 “But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”.
MESSAGE: Have you ever bothered to relax and reflect over what is written about you in the word of God? Have you ever taken time to ponder about what God is saying to you in your current situation? There is no situation in life that God has no word for his beloved ones. One great thing about God’s word is that it does not go out and return back to Him empty. It must fulfill its purpose.
The bible tells us in Hosea 4:6 that “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge”. Spiritual ignorance can destroy faster than physical poison. Spiritual ignorance puts you in bondage before it finally destroys you. But Jesus said in John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
The bible is filled with what is written about every child of God. Unfortunately, many people have been running to prayer houses, prophets and prophetesses to hear what God is saying about them. Quite often, they fall into the hands of fraudsters who take advantage of their desperation to defraud them. But any child of God who has been set free from the bondage of ignorance will always confess what is written in the word of God in any situation to have victory as Jesus did in our anchor scripture to defeat the devil who came to tempt him.
During the Ebola and Covid 19 pandemic, knowledgeable Christians knew that there was no need to panic because it is written in Psalm 91:3,10 “God will save you from hidden dangers and from deadly diseases So nothing bad will happen to you. No diseases will come near your home.” If you are traveling on a dangerous road, note that it is written in Psalm23:4 “Even if I walk through a valley as dark as the grave, I will not be afraid of any danger, because you are with me. Your rod and staff comfort me”.
Friend there is no situation in life that you will face which God has not written something on it to make you victorious. Are you a student, business man, politician, professional or minister of the gospel? Just note that it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 “I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future”.
May the Lord open your eyes to see what is written about you to give you a victorious journey of life in Jesus Name-Amen.
PRAYER: Lord open my eyes and mouth always to see and confess what is written in your word about me. As I constantly do this, Father grant me victory and success in every aspect of my life (list them) in Jesus Name-Amen.
