This season is a beautiful one for Ani Ibekwe. By the evening of today, she will be sitting with few friends to have her birthday toast. But the birthday is not the eyes hooker of her present season. The big news this season is that Aniekan is getting married to one handsome guy called Ubong Ndarake next week. The traditional marriage and wedding will hold on the 7th & 9th April respectively.
Aniekan who is a graduate of soil science and emerging entrepreneur can aptly be described as a rose petal, pure diamond and a true virtuous lady in the mould of the proverbs 31 woman.
The proverbs 31 Woman portrays a wife who pursues the wisdom of God instead of the wisdom of the world. She is not concerned with what seems right according to the world. Instead, she focuses on God’s truth and her biggest desire is to honour God. The most important characteristic of such Woman is her belief that charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. This is the kind of woman that Aniekan Ibekwe portrays.
Over the years, I have watched Aniekan who is my kid sister grow from baby to a full woman. I admire her resilient spirit and no quitting attitude. She is who she is today by sheer hard work, dedication and God. Her capacity to hold on during hard times until the light break is commendable. She is an example of a young woman who dug in despite all odds and who finally bloomed in due season because she never gave up.
