Just know that God is your door keeper
SCRIPTURE: Revelation 3:7-8 “This is the message from the one who is holy and true, the one who has the key of David. What he opens, no one can close; and what he closes, no one can open.8 “I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close…”
MESSAGE: In life there some human door keepers who will shut you out and even stop you from having access to something or somebody. They can make you feel as if you don’t belong. Some people may hide your file, blackmail you before a potential benefactor or try to screen you out of an opportunity. But the good news here is that those evil people are no match to God who will defeat all their negative antics in your life in Jesus name-Amen.
Our anchor scripture in Revelation 3:7-8 teaches us that God is our door keeper, “What he opens, no one can close; and what he closes, no one can open”. Note not that God as your door keeper will not only open doors, He can also shut the doors that lead to calamity, destruction or death against in your life. Such shut doors could come in the form of broken marriage engagement, aborted relationship, failed job interview, lost political position etc. You may feel disappointed first when it happens, but God shut that door to preserve you from calamity or disaster. Also note that God as your door keeper will open the right door to where you are supposed to go or be, irrespective of people’s opinions or dislikes towards you. Human beings are not in charge of your door out of the waiting room of your life. The devil is not even the one in control of the door. The Lord is your door keeper. He will roll away any stone on your way no matter how heavy.
Friends, are you a job seeker, business person, professional, pastor? Are you planning to marry, own a home or commence work on your vision? If you surrender to God during the time of your testing and trials, He will open the right doors for you that no human being can close and close the wrong doors where no one can open.
PRAYER: My Father and my God, I rededicate my life to you. Shut every wrong door leading to disaster in my life and open every good door leading to good health, protection, prosperity, success, promotion (name them) where no man can shut in my life. This I pray in Jesus name -Amen.
