ABANDONED UKANAFUN COTAGE HOSPITAL BACKLASH: Man 25 dies of snake bite
A 25-year-old young man died recently in Okoyo village in Ukanafun, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria after a snake bite. According to a family member named Ofonime who spoke to Townhall Platform on phone, he said the young man was bitten by the snake while trying to pack some oil palm fruits in the bush. He complained bitterly about the absence of a functional government hospital in Ukanafun, the reason he strongly believed contributed to the dead of his nephew. This is indeed sad- very very sad.
