SCRIPTURE: Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
MESSAGE: Do you have a heart desire that gives you sleepless nights or something that dominates your heart all the time? Ok, let us be more specific. Do you want to get a job, get married or have you been married for years now without any fruit of the womb? Is it a source of worry to you that while you are serving God as a committed Christian, you are not receiving you desired blessing? Well, the good news here is that you should continue to delight yourself in the Lord and he will grant you the desires of your heart.
I met a guy recently in Abuja called Isaac whose life was a personification of real suffering. His story was so pathetic that I use to tell him that a man’s life is not finished until he is dead. I did this to stop him from contemplating suicide. Brother Isaac was a committed Christian and use to attend fellowship in my house. His situation became more complicated when his only brother disappeared and the dead body was found two weeks later drawn in the river . Brother Isaac continued to keep faith and delight himself in the Lord. Shortly after the burial of the brother, one of the best paying federal parastatal did a head hunt and someone put in his CV. He was interview and employed with a good salary package. Today our brother is happily married and also catering for his late brother’s wife and children. Friends, God turned around the story of brother Isaac, he will fulfil your heart desire in Jesus name-Amen
PRAYER: Lord I look to you, because you are my helper. Grant me this very important desire of my heart. ( name it). Release your fountain of favour upon me and bless my soul in Jesus Name-Amen
